About Feuille d'Artichaut
Feuille d'Artichaut (pronounced fœj d'aʁtiʃo, meaning Artichoke Leaf) was created in March 2020 in Alsace, France. It was born from my passion for sewing, for beautiful and comfortable clothing, and from a deep concern for the natural environment.
Self-taught, I design original clothes according to my inspirations, which I then model to make them "come to life".
My creations are made from old, vintage fabrics mostly, sometimes upcycled fabrics, and sometimes new but either environmental-friendly and/or local fabrics made in France.
I hope you will wear them, love them and make them last ...

I like a piece of clothing, but I can't find it on Etsy. What can I do ?
When a piece is not available on Etsy, it may be for several reasons, one of them being that the piece is unique, or that I can't make it again in the same fabric. But you can contact me directly (see contact form) to be sure and ask me your question.
I like a piece of clothing but I cant' find my size. What can I do ?
Since I work mostly with vintage fabrics, i can make only a very limited quantity of clothes with the same fabric. If you like a style, please contact me to know if I still have some fabric to make your size. If I don't, we can still try to find another fabric that you like and would look nice with the style you like.
I have at home a piece of vintage/ancient fabric that I really like. Can you make a piece of clothing out of it ?
Of course ! Contact me (see contact form) to discuss it together. The quantity of the fabric should be enough to make the style you want, and the quality should also fit the cut. Please be aware that for environmental reasons, this option is only available if you live in metropolitan France. The shipping charges are paid by you.
Do you make made-to-mesure clothing, based on my own measurements ?
For now, Feuille d'Artichaut does not make made-to-mesure clothing. But it may happen one day !
For now, it is possible to adjust some simple variables, like the length of a dress, pants, or shirt's sleeves. Please contact me for more information.
Do I have to buy on Etsy ?
No, you don't. You can contact me direclty via the contact form to buy directly from me.
I don't live in France. Can I still buy at Feuille d'Artichaut ?
If you live in Europe, yes. For environmental reasons, I do not wish to send a package further than that.
